We exist to create opportunities for local people
Saint City Community is a Community Interest Company delivering programmes that improve lives across East London, designed with residents, delivered by local people, measured properly.
Our story
Started on a local pitch, built around local need
Saint City Community began with a handful of volunteers running free football sessions for young people who had nowhere else to go. Families told us what else was missing: help finding work, somewhere to talk, activities in the school holidays. We built our programmes around those answers.
Today we work across East London with schools, councils, NHS teams, funders and employers. We stay deliberately close to the ground: our coaches, mentors and session leaders live in the same neighbourhoods as the people they support.
Our mission
To remove the barriers that stop East Londoners taking part, and replace them with practical, lasting opportunity through sport, education, employability, health and wellbeing.
Our vision
An East London where every young person, adult and family has somewhere to belong, someone in their corner, and a genuine route to progress.
Our CIC commitment
As a Community Interest Company, our surplus is reinvested into delivery. There are no private shareholders taking value out of the community.

Governance
A board of local directors with lived experience of the areas we serve, meeting quarterly with published minutes.
Safeguarding
Enhanced DBS checks, an appointed Designated Safeguarding Lead and annual refresher training for every member of staff.
Reporting
Attendance, demographics and outcomes tracked per session and shared with commissioners and funders.
